RK Printcoat Instruments, a specialist in the design and manufacture of ink and surface coating equipment, has deployed Opera 3. A long standing user of Pegasus’ solutions, Opera 3 represents the backbone of RK’s operations, automating core business processes to boost productivity, and facilitating complete visibility across the organisation.
Since its initial deployment of Pegasus software 15 years ago, RK has expanded significantly and now exports its growing range of equipment worldwide to printing ink manufacturers, printers, converters and other related businesses. In line with this, Opera 3 supports all areas of RK’s business operations, from Sales Order Processing and Bill of Materials, to Document Management and Customer Relationship Management. The company also uses Pegasus XRL reporting to deliver real-time reports on all aspects of the business as required. One of the key benefits of Opera 3 is that it enables RK to work in multiple currencies – sterling, euros and dollars – to support its fixed price list policy across all of its territories.
“For any SME, efficiency and visibility are key to achieving business growth, particularly as markets become increasingly complex,” comments Tom Kerchiss, Managing Director, RK Printcoat Instruments. “Opera 3 takes away all of the complexity involved in running a business, streamlining core processes and facilitating visibility from which to make decisions and pursue opportunities.”
“Opera 3 works seamlessly to support our business and on the rare occasion we encounter any issues, Pegasus’ Partner, Applied Business Computers, are extremely quick, responsive and creative in suggesting solutions. Looking ahead, we plan to extend the benefits of Opera 3 into our warehouse through implementing stock control in the coming months, and look forward to embracing the next phase of our growth with confidence that our business processes are supported by one of the most robust and reliable solutions on the market.”
